How to put in a clickable link in your siggy:

Go to your profile by clicking on your community bio, and update your profile. This should get you to the page where you can update information. Go to signature and enter this code:

  <*a href="http://july2009knotties.googlepages.com/"> July 09</a*>

The bolded areas can be changed to whatever you want. Just remember to take out the *'s.

How to put a picture in post

Go to tinypic and follow the instructions. When you get the codes, find the one that starts [img]YOUR TINYURL HERE[/img]. Paste that into the post and click submit. Obviously you can use tinyurl or photobucket, however, consider the size of the picture when posting.

How to put a url in a post

[link]TINY URL HERE[/link]

I make no claim that these will work 100% of the time due to wacky formatting issues with the Knot/Nest. Make sure that nothing is bold or formatted in any way. I also find that it sometimes helps to put the "code" on its own line and, sometimes, in its own post without any other writing.

If you have Internet Explorer it should be able to link by putting a space after the link. I am able to do this.

How to make a bio

As you can see, many knotties have a bio to help them plan their weddings and help others for inspiration. I bet your asking, well I want to make one too!! There are different ways to making one if you are not html savvy!

 1. Googlepages- Probably the easiest and the most popular. You need to go to googlepages.com and create an account. Then just make your bio as you see fit!
FYI- Googlepages is not accepting any new users. However they have switch to google sites.

 2. Some people use stlwedbio. I am not sure of the link. However, I have heard from some that its a pain to update and from others that they love it. Its just a personal preference.

 3. NVU - If you go to this site ( NVU Bio Help), it will help you create your bio in this particular program.
